The desktop client is full parity with the web product — the same secure workflow, plus a system tray, native notifications, device-bound sign-in, and watched folders that turn a dropped file into an attached record.

Before you install

These installers are not yet code-signed. On Windows, SmartScreen may show a “Windows protected your PC” warning the first time you run the installer — choose More info → Run anyway to continue. Signed installers are on the roadmap.

Want to verify your download? Each release publishes SHA-256 checksums. After downloading, run sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt (Linux) or certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows) and compare.
